Something's pissing me off about this.

So far (at least in my eyes) this is the worst effort the band has ever done with Jayy involved (not as bad as the stuff with just Dahvie, but that's not hard to top), and why the fuck are Jayy's vocals so back in the mix, in fact, why are the vocals produced this way at all.

I actually enjoyed Bad Blood and Bitchcraft, since most of the vocals were done by Jayy and the production was incredibly solid. This seems like an incredibly Dahvie-centric record with terrible production. The beat itself is just about as average synthwave as you can get.

because dahvie is a total ego maniac so obviously he would have his vocals dominant in the mix. mixing two vocalists in unison isnt a hard concept so its obvious someone did it intentionally.

I don't understand why now though; Dahvie's done all of the production on BOTDF's work, and he chooses now to suffocate Jayy in the mix? I can't tell whether he's jealous of the success of Jayy's solo album (due to a clear difference in talent) or their budget just went down overall.

Oh my god, these vocals are so half added. They've always been awful, but I feel like this song really drives home how shitty and unprofessional they are.

These vocals are beyond band. Actually it sounds like just as they began recording the vocalist had an epiphany of what an utterly shit and vapid band they really are and was trying to hold back the tears while singing.
