It very much sounds like a Supercharger song from the vocals to the instrumentation, with a few half good ideas thrown in near the end.

Whatever potential this song has to be good got lost the minute somebody put this in a blender from 2002.

Clearly the single's purpose is to test the waters for a future change of direction to a more melodic and streamlined sound. Depending on the fans' reaction, MH will decide whether to go through with it or not. Personally I find the song a bit on the overdramatic side, as far as lyrics in the verses go. Chorus and overall music are cool, tho.

Song isn't their best but I appreciate the irony of the hyperbolic hatred towards Machine Head criticising the hyperbolic themes of the song.

I don't hate the song I'm just indifferent. I find hyperbole to be pretty exhausting. I felt the same way with Aesthetics of Hate, though that's a much better song.

Cowboys and Vulgar Display have a good amount of thrash songs between the two of them. I think even a good amount of Power Metal is borderline thrash too.

I don't know, I kinda liked this I guess... I really hated the 'come on' parts though, absolutely horrible.
