they want people to subscribe to Tidal and pay more money for that than the $10 for the CD/download, so putting off a physical release makes a lot of business sense if they're trying to keep that ship from sinking.

if there is anything truly sinking the company its the Jay Z ownership. Timed exclusive streams, releases and just over shitty business practices are tanking the damn thing. Lets face it, these exclusive streams are his last resort means to accumulate a profit for the company but it will never be enough. Should sell the rights to Qobuz to keep the service alive. The US needs some sort of lossless streaming service and unfortunately Tidal is all we got.

I don't think Beyonce followers have the "trapping out the bandwidth" mentality that Kanye followers have though, so I would expect her album to have significantly less illegal downloads. But Views From the 6 on the other hand, wouldn't be surprised if that got even more then TLOP, since that's going to be an Apple Music exclusive.
