Decent modern thrash, reminds me of some of the better moments of The Dream Calls For Blood

The actual song is pretty good, but why does every modern thrash band insist on using the same exact guitar tone?

Because modern thrash bands are washed up old geezer rockers who are to stuck in the past to think up something new, except for Vektor or course.

I think there aren't enough bands with the word 'Angel' in their name.

But Death ANGEL has been around 3X as long as most of them.

"solid meh/10"

Eh I kinda agree. This is okay as an album opener but the rest has to be more adventurous, especially after the big words. Get on your proggy roots damn it

1:40 is a pretty killer moment though.

Very similar drum sound too, as well as noticeably missing dynamics (though not Death Magnetic level)

Here's the second single, "Cause For Alarm": https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-N0UcnswlUQ

I was thinking about just editing it into this article, or I'd feel like spamming about the band.

Really enjoyed it, but probably due to the fact that I'm a bit biased when it comes to thrash.
