I generally tend to ignore it for the most part, but you got a point. I mean this track in particular is a bit below average. The middle section is nice, but everything sounds as they're trying far too hard to make it "weird" or glitchy. I mean, the shit they did here they've done on several other songs to the point where you could mistake one for the other. Moreso, it's like they crammed two songs into one with the contrasting fast/slow sections, which would be cool in some points, but here it's just awkwardly done.

Bottomless Pit will be cool tho, the singles usually ain't the best tunes they do (Inanimate Sensation and On GP being exceptions)

Listen, Ovdeath or whatev's... I get you think their lyrics are gibberish because they're ment to be. The whole thing about TMS and EX-M and NLDW is there is a character (MC Ride) that sings all these songs. The lyrics and the music are meant to represent his (or its) state of mind: A psycopath, a mass murderer, a drug abuser, a cult follower, a "lost boy". Steffan's lyrics are romantic, in the old Lord Byron sense that they are not there to make a specific narative (albeit one of patterns and loose ends) but to create a lyrical landscape of decadence, violence and 21st century malevolence.

It may be hard to think about now with all the "lol meme grips" and all that crap but I urge you to revisit Fantano's review of TMS because he makes an absolut point about DG's lyrics.
