ehh not too bad, excited to hear the album anyway, hopefully it will have more influence than their debut, any of the other two tracks worth checking?
| |
another solid single, album's looking good but I'm pretty sure it wont top unimagine
the first single has been the best imo
| |
a cringed so hard when he started singing my eye started twitching
| |
HLH perfecting their sound while adding some additional spices, album cover looks weak tho
| |
Sounds pretty good. I still haven't given Unimagine a proper listen after their terribly produced debut.
| |
Really not feeling these singles, and I loved the first two albums.
| |
Sounds pretty good. Will probably check it out when it gets released.
| |
The singles are good, but they all have the exact same formula with the metalcore bridge... I also really miss the keyboardist, he really gave them their own sound
| |
Not enough balls for me. Sounds like a band marketed towards female audiences.
| |
there's way too many chugs and that metalcore breakdown is too close to bring me the horizon for me to be comfortable.
After giving it a couple listens, the drummer seems to be on autopilot. On previous records he toyed with different time signatures and rhythms, but his beats the last few singles have been...well - generic
| |
Never really liked them but I worked a show where they were supports and they had an insanely tight live act tbh
| |
absolutely rules
| |
I think they're steering towards more radio-friendly sound, hence why they simplify their songs, I heard they have a decent following and radio play in Australia so I wouldn't be surprised if Rise would like to milk that cow
| |
that's probably true but it's a shame, since Unimagine was already very radio-friendly, but pretty original at the same time. This time they're not very original and these 3 singles sound a lot like eachother
| |
"Not enough balls for me. Sounds like a band marketed towards female audiences."
rofl are you for real
| |
that's not a crazy notion at all.
| |
idk it's pretty foolish and hilariously worded
| |
hahahahahaha holy crap this is awful
| |
This is shaping up to be my favorite album of theirs tbh.
| |
Love this band. They have a great sound. Every album gets better with these guys.
| |
I dig this one a lot. They have streamlined their sound a bit but it works for them.
| |
Overall a pretty good song. Chorus was probably the best part and I really liked the bridge at first but I think that was more for the surprise factor. This whole heavy approach does indeed sound generic. I mean, if it's what they want to do then fine, but they could be doing so much more than this. Still excited for the album and I like all of the songs released so far but it's sad to see that they've given up their originality.
| |
Good song, nothing mindblowing. The first single has been my favorite so far. I do miss the keyboard parts but the heavier sections are a nice addition though.
| |
Band has no soul
| |
I enjoyed ground dweller when they were playing generic metalcore and dude was doing his best jonny Craig Tyler Carter impression.
When they were being all creative and original it kind of sucked, and I was under the impression that this new stuff was more of their new sounds but I keep hearing about it's heaviness I might actually check this out
| |
I have liked all of their music and this is no different.
| |
This album is gonna be great. Such a good band, live as well. They premiered 2 new songs when I saw them a couple months ago and they were fantastic, I imagine they are gonna be even better recorded.
| |
this is boring
| |
so vanilla i had to check to make sure this wasn't an ad for ben & jerry's
| |
"Band has no soul"
wasn't always the case
| |
Album leaked and it kicks ass.
