New Deftones already? 2007-06-07 by samthebassman | 6 Comments | Even though Deftones are still touring their latest album Saturday Night Wrist across the US, they're already working on their next release.
Speaking to Billboard.com, frontman Chino Moreno said the band has set up a space to take time out to write and generate new material.
"We're going in there and playing as five of us in the room with just our instruments, no other distractions," he said.
While the band has mentioned they're starting work on new material, there's no word as to when it will be completed or released.
However, Moreno's side project, Team Sleep, is close to releasing their second record, a follow-up to the band's 2005 self-titled effort.
Team Sleep fans can expect a new album in early 2008.
