Damn. Least he ended with grace. IF is pretty much over by now.
| |
should've been Anders
| |
giving up drums to brew some beer, not a bad trade
| |
All those line-up changes...
| |
shame to see what the music 'business' has become......this was probably a million dollar job 20 years ago for a band of this caliber.....like em or not
| |
HE'S GONNA JOIN A7X
...wait...
| |
Band is due to breakup anytime
| |
Respect to him, he was a cool part of the band and had a great run.
| |
He has become so depressed watching his bands music drop in quality over the years and the only way for him to cope is to open his own brewery so he could get wasted daily, RIP.
| |
rip
| |
Beer > In Flames
| |
not a huge beer fan but agreed
| |
Wow didnt expected that. Always liked him for his gollum-like querks.
Maybe this will change something in IF sound but I think rather not.
| |
Ford is more of a Jack Daniels type of guy
| |
That's cool, beer isn't for everyone.
| |
Band hasn't really mattered since Come Clarity anyways.
| |
I like a nice brew now n then but I'm not one of those people who chills out w/ 3 or 4 beers every night after work. I could def do that w/ margaritas tho
| |
don't even care that that makes me gay, you got something against gaysz?
| |
Ya strawberry + blueberry margaritas with salt on the edge is a euphoric experience.
| |
sounds amazing
| |
I only drink Cuban screwdrivers.
Oh this news kinda sucks I guess too
| |
Check his old band Sacrilege. They played melodic death metal but they were heavier than In Flames' old stuff
| |
heavier than in flames? not pissoble
| |
Probably should've left after Colony.
| |
can the whole band quit, please?
| |
check them anyway
| |
Well I think Phil Collins has found his new day job...
| |
Phil would bring a more gentle side to this harsh and edgy group, I agree.
| |
Maybe he finally got tired of writing shitty music for the past decade
| |
There aren't any original members left, so it doesn't really matter who comes and goes.
Anders doesn't count. Although, like him or not, his leaving would cause the most impact.
| |
I don't even know what I want from this band anymore. If they ditch Anders and get a good vocalist that can sing cleans well and keep their current sound, that might be okay.
If Anders would just use his decent harshes again, that would also be okay.
Moot point to wish though, he will never leave and band will just keep getting shittier.
| |
Shame, it should have been Anders.
| |
"Probably should've left after Colony"
this
| |
they all should quit
| |
Out of flames
| |
it's not like theyre the same band anyway
| |
who cares
| |
All this article did was make me want to listen to old In Flames. So I am.
| |
I wish I could quit my job in flames.
Douse myself in petrol and whoompf, walk out the office casual as fuck giving my boss the two fingers while ablaze. "Stick ya job it's shit"
| |
reminds me of the headline "Airport kills John Trevolta's dogs"
| |
they need to stop making music already
| |
They are the Swedish Metallica, they will never stop. They can pump out 10 more Siren Charms and every single one would top the charts no matter who is in the band.
| |
I think we've all quit In Flames
| |
I gave up all hope after Siren Charms.
| |
You held on to that hope for way too long then.
| |
band was already dead
| |
Yeah I guess.
| |
join babymetal
| |
Join A7x, they can have a sweet double drum setup
| |
should've been Anders [2]
Daniel has been their best member for about 13 years now. I can't even imagine what kind of new low point they will approach without him.
| |
well it'd have been kinda weird if everyone except him left the band but maybe it'd be better??
| |
A little mistake, Daniel played on eight In Flames albums, not nine.
So bad he left the band, since he was the most talented guy of their most recent line-up, but is a respectable decision.
| |
should've been Anders [3]
They got rid of the metal drummer so they can write more shit-dad-rock. Sad what this band has become.
| |
meh, dont really care. he was a pretty average drummer. also, band has been pretty garbage since Reroute to Remain anyways.
| |
swedish dad-rock.
| |
"focus on brewery"
Bwahahaha
| |
come clarity was the last kick at the can for these guys
now they're officially a joke
| |
The Resistance already has two former In Flames members from the 90s, maybe they should recruit him too and steadily turn into 90s In Flames resurrected.
| |
Or not.
| |
Jesper will be drumming on the next IF record then
| |
there's worse decisions that he could have made...
| |
"not a huge beer fan but agreed"
and you call yourself metalhead
| |
lol
| |
""not a huge beer fan but agreed"
and you call yourself metalhead"
fuckin right I do bitch
| |
I think I'd focus on the alcohol too.
| |
Ford pls don't go telling ppl you ID as a metalhead.
| |
I haven't completely given up on IF. I mean, Siren Charms was pretty bad but they've released good albums among the bad ones before. I really liked Sounds.
| |
Sounds was saved by good songwriting, great choruses and tons of solos.
| |
