SikTh's upcoming mini-album now has a title

2015-08-21 by BornDeadBuriedAlive | 35 Comments
Renowned technical metal act SikTh's upcoming mini-album will be titled Opacities.

The six-track effort will be released in November, and will be followed up by a tour of the UK in December. The album will feature a cover designed by Dan Mumford, who has previously worked for Protest The Hero, The Black Dahlia Murder, and Gallows.

It will be the band's first release in nine years.

I'm surprised more people aren't blowing this page up. This is some of the most exciting musical news I've gotten all year!

OMG FUCKING FINALLY

The art looks soooo much like the special edition of Volition but I guess that's because it's the same artist. It just doesn't look very Sikth-y

Hope this isn't like Pin's other band, Aliases, which is like a colder and soulless version of Sikth.

The art is a bit too slick but it's got a doadd vibe

good stuff. Found a second-hand copy of How May I Help You in a used music store last year, got it home, looked it up online and noticed the front cover of my copy was different to those pictured; mine was covered in squiggles.

Then I realized I'd bought a signed copy of the EP, for £1.50. Happy days

I'm hoping that this EP does kick ass

I went in for the vinyl cause I used to listen to them religiously, I still support and and am super glad they got back together cause it's solid music when I listen to them again
