I know that this was released about a week and a half ago but I figured that I might as well post this just for the hell of it.
Besides, it's actually a pretty decent song compared to the last one if you ask me.
| |
well it's not about dank nugs so it can't possibly be worse than the last one
| |
yeah this is super late
song is better than the other singles at least
still not very good
album will be a 2/5 tops
| |
I like the chorus. Kinda has that anthemic feel to it and you can't deny that they're good at that.
| |
It sounds like Disturbed is trying to do a Nightwish cover. It also isn't mixed very well and the lyrics are boring.
| |
Given the last track, this is a godsend
| |
This album has 16 songs? Fuck
| |
These guys are shit. Sorry but not sorry.
| |
@Sonoma, three of them are bonus tracks, so 13 for the regular edition
| |
Really liked the Vengeful One, this one I didn't enjoy too much but thought it was still okay, but Fire it Up was absolutely atrocious. Really not sure what to expect for the rest of the album.
| |
I expect a Disturbed album
| |
I would normally agree with that but what they've released so far has been all over the place. Hopefully Fire it Up was just a one-off and the rest of the album will be solid.
| |
this song fucking sucks, no surprise there
| |
Well it's way way better than the weed song
| |
Their old songs used to at least seem well put-together in terms of vocal rhythm/melody and general production/mixing. This is just wrong in every crevice.
| |
damn wasn't one new disturbed song enough
| |
hope this song will get me FIRED UP
| |
@TMF, this was before the weed one actually
there's going to be another song Friday if I'm correct
| |
people who act like this is typical disturbed obviously haven't heard or paid much attention to anything before asylum
| |
Either way it still sucks.
| |
Believe is fine with me.
This is looking like a solid 2.1/5 right now.
| |
plz make it stop
| |
Sounds like Disturbed being Disturbed, which means boring.
| |
I hate how he really does seem like a strong vocalist, but writes such generic and boring shit.
| |
Was hoping for more #420blazeit jams
| |
Weed is the future. Generic hard rock labeled as metal is the future. Amen! Can I get an amen ?!
| |
Over/Under on the number of times the vocalist goes "Ow AH AH AH" on this record is 2, submit your picks here.
| |
I feel like some people are hating this more than the weed one. A little surprised by that honestly.
| |
people who act like this is typical disturbed obviously haven't heard or paid much attention to anything before asylum [2]
still, this is gonna suck
| |
my god that chorus...
| |
Were this band ever actually good, or have they always been this bad? Never paid attention to them tbh.
| |
They used to occasionally have good moments. Stupify, Stricken, The Sickness. But then loads of generic, repetitive stuff.
| |
This is good.....to a 12 year old.
| |
They've mainly been more generic and bland than flat out awful, most of their material is 2.9-3.3 material. This is the first time where I've heard them and found them godawful.
| |
I hope David drayman gets stage 3 lasagna
| |
"Were this band ever actually good, or have they always been this bad? Never paid attention to them tbh."
Depends if you're into their gimmick factor. They're fun at times but the thing is that they release the same album over and over again that you'll never want to listen to them anymore.
| |
no shame i'm working on a disturbed discog review for when this comes out
| |
I might review this, depends on if there's any contribs taking the spot.
| |
well judging from the three singles it's definitely a 1.8
the vengeful one is like a 2
this is like a 2.2 (maybe, still thinking on it)
fire it up is like a 1.3
| |
Definitely a band you can only enjoy in small doses. The Night and Inside the Fire are cool but before long it all just starts to sound the bloody same.

my god they're shitting these songs out like diarrhea. Thankfully this should be the last one until the album is released.
| |
Their instrumentals keep getting better and David Draiman's vocals and lyrics keep getting worse and worse.
| |
As laughable as the lyrics are, I honestly think David is a decent vocalist. Unfortunately the style of choice is what makes him a laughing stock.
| |
@Toondude. He ain't that bad, but yeah, bad choice. If Disturbed played like Testament, that'd be a different story.
