I swear on my motherfucking grave that, if this abyssal LP sucks as hard as the last two, considering the hype train, I will jump off a second floor balcony...

DO IT!

That new Abyssal one is awesome, improvement on their last two (as much as I quite liked those). Their songwriting has improved tenfold.

It has a much nicer (read as "less godawful sounding") drum sound that doesn't feel awkward as hell and the guitar tone is pretty nice too. It's definitely a lot easier to listen to than their older stuff, and I was mostly put off by the crudeness of those albums so that's probably saying something.

I'm digging this Abyssal record.
