Wintersun is more comparable to HL-3, imo, bc they released ep 1 and 2 of HL-2 with the intention to release more but then quit mysteriously, whereas Time I was released and then Time II was mysteriously postponed.
Necrophagist just said they were making another album--supposedly--but never gave any hint that that was actually happening.

There's probably good reason not to release Eros.
There's no conceivable way it could live up to the ridiculous expectations that everyone has set for it.

From the stuff I've gathered online it sounds like Eros will be their last album. I would guess there will probably be two more albums: this untitled one and then Eros. They've been around for a while so I wouldn't be surprised if after two more they go on hiatus.
