Maybe atmospherically and the tone hasn't been on par or what people prefer their earlier records, but I've really enjoy the guitar experimentation on the past few albums.

As is the case with "Black Sun", I like the song a lot, but am not too keen on the production. It sounds brittle, but maybe that's the point given the album title. I'm also a bit concerned by the fact that they've released the opening trio as singles. I hope it isn't a front loaded album with songs 4 - 11 all being filler.
