We are the World >

Also, lets not forget that line in the original which says:

"Well, tonight thank God it's them instead of you."

I think this line-up is actually worse than contracting Ebola.

I don't know who half of these people are.

Also re:We Are the World, reminds me of a joke about obesity in America: "A bunch of musicians came together in 1984 to release a song with the line "Feed the world", a couple of years later a bunch of Americans got together to sing a song called "We Are the World". Do you think something was maybe lost in translation a little bit?"

They mostly stick within the realm of British pop artists, so that's probably why

"This is as condescending as the song itself – do Africans know it’s Christmas? Given that over 500 million people living there are Christians, we must presume the answer to that is yes – and worse, it is a form of bullying that has sneeringly been dressed up as do-gooding."

So fucking true. I despise how this song is presented

This is totally shameless, Bob Geldof is a massive turd as well.

Dislike 'Do They Know it's Christmas?' Dislike most of the artists here.

Aside from sounding like a jumbled-together mess (which obviously is exactly what it is, but there's no cohesion at all here), I think what I dislike the most about this version is how some of the artists try to steal the spotlight and claim the song as their own. Surely this goes completely against the sentiment?

Rita Ora is the chief offender. No surprises there.

Bono and Chris Martin are the only reasons I'd even slightly want to listen to this
and I'm still not going to listen to this
