New Stick To Your Guns record

2014-09-21 by Gameofmetal EMERITUS | 18 Comments
Hardcore band Stick To Your Guns have announced that their fifth record Disobedient will be released on February 10, 2015 through Sumerian Records. The band worked with producer John Feldmann (The Used, Story Of The Year) during the recording process in the first half of 2014.

'Disobedient' is the followup to 2012's 'Diamond'. Vocalist Jesse Barnett had this statement regarding the album:

"Growing up in a world where we are taught to submit, blindly follow and unquestioningly comply, this album is a critique and unlearning of these Stepford mindsets." He concluded with, "Where we should be glorifying doing what is right instead of what we're told, we are only failing each other. Not anymore. Forever Disobedient."

This news was released through Alt Press and includes a short teaser of the album.

Not saying they're as bad as a lot of people imply, but they're not a hardcore band.

I enjoyed diamonds so I will definitely check this out but that's a while to wait.

They're definitely hardcore. I mean they have a little bit of metal influence and a bit more melody and clean singing but predominantly hardcore for sure.
