I appreciate that they're trying to sonically do something different than just another straight-forward banger of a track, but not quite sure they pulled this one off... I enjoyed to shit out of 'Gone', but I don't really know what to make of this as of yet.

Gone was okay. I wish they'd write more songs like 'Gears' though.

Yeah! That song was wonderful. And I definitely think 'Gone' was better than than 90% of the material off At Heart haha. But is that saying much?

Not really. At Heart kinda sucked. Leech was the only song I really enjoyed off of it.

Yeah Ballad of A Broken Man was about it for me. Jerod Boyd's kick drum was about the most interesting thing on the majority of those songs...

Jerod is a pretty good drummer.

Seriously terrible. Song goes absolutely nowhere, harsh vox are painfully constipated and monotonous, and guitarists cleans are cringeworthy.

Hahaha wow this is fucking awful. Harsh vocals are really just gross sounding, not appealing in any way, and the cleans have always sucked a lot, but it's painfully obvious here. That guy can't sing, he's never been able to sing, why they let him is something I don't understand. Then again they pretty much suck all around now days so whatever, he fits I guess. I'll admit I somewhat enjoyed some of their past work but this is unbearable.

Got to hand it to them for trying something different with this song but, those vocals were AWFUL. It's obvious that the dude has a decent voice, he just has no idea how to use it. His voice just had no flow or melody to it. With better vocals this could have been a much better song.
