Almost sounds like a cut from Omnium Gatherum's latest, will be very interested to hear the thoughts of Crisis on this. As a big Insomnium fan myself Ive been moderately disappointed by it, hoping the song will grow on me in time.

this song is sweet and hopefully people will dig this and keep supporting Insomnium. If you're looking for brutal music then this is obviously going to be boring. But this isn't brutal, it's beautiful and very well composed.
4/5

I don't find this boring because it isn't brutal lol, I like melodic death metal and Insomnium, but I think this track's really weak. it's weird because it reminds me of Omnium Gatherum's latest album, and I've really enjoyed that album

this song just lacks great riffs/melodies Insomnium used to write, it's really generic and the atmosphere is too... happy? uplifting? idk I just don't like it

You kinda have to come to terms that Insomnium aren't the same band that released their first 3 records. It was kinda hard for me to do that because I wanted (and still want) them to go back to that sound, but tbh it will likely never happen. This is what we're left with.

My fav Insomnium album. Although I like their new direction more than their first three albums.

Wow, didn't think that was even possible! One for Sorrow did absolutely nothing for me. I guess we are just different then.

Well OG's guitarist is in Insomnium now so the similarities aren't terribly surprising, and certainly
not unwelcome. Two of my favorite melodeath bands. I like this track a lot.

People really don't like One For Sorrow that much? I think that album is brilliant lol and it's hard for me to get into their works before that.

I thought this was a pretty solid track, hasn't really grabbed my attention too much but usually I take a while to actually get into something new anyway. I do really hope they have some long, epic tracks on this one, I missed not having songs like In the Groves of Death or even Lay of the Autumn on One for Sorrow. I agree with the statements about it sounding very similar to Omnium Gatherum's newest output, which is a shame as I'd prefer the two bands to stay distinct from one another, oh well I guess we will see when the album drops.
