2nd LP For Winona Fighter 2026-10-16 by John Marinakis CONTRIBUTOR | 0 Comments | Winona Fighter have announced their second album, Brutal & Extremely Underrated, due January 22, 2027 through Rise Records.
The follow-up to 2025’s “My Apologies to the Chef” arrives with LEECH, accompanied by a Hannah Hall-directed video. The track follows the previously released BOMBS AWAY.
Recorded at bassist Austin Luther’s home studio and produced by Luther, the album retains the trio’s DIY approach while addressing subjects including insecurity, friendship and distrust of government.
Guitarist Dan Fuson described a more collaborative writing process, with each member making room for the others’ contributions. Vocalist Coco Kinnon likewise emphasized the experience of making the record together in a garage. Artist Glen Martin Taylor created the cover artwork.
The tracklist is:
1. TV On The Radio
2. BOMBS AWAY
3. LEECH
4. DEAD HORSE
5. You Don’t Have A Clue
6. SELF AFFIRMATIONS
7. HAWK FOOT
8. OUT! THERE!
9. Lily Cut Her Hair
10. PARA SIEMPRE
11. BULLY BUSTER
12. Title (REDACTED)
