I remember opening for the agonist, they were ok

I loved "Lullabies For The Dormant Mind". Didn't really dig Prisoners to much. Honestly won't expect much from The Agonist anymore. I Just hope the new Arch Enemy slays, cause Alissa does have some nice screams.

Well we don't really know much about this new singer, so we don't know how thing's will turn out. E.G. now we're only just getting to see the impact on Eths and their new frontwoman.

The Agonist has talented band members an I'm not doubting Vicky's vox, I just wonder how good her lyrics/songwriting ability is. Alissa's was rather strong alot of the time.

If that's the case they may already have lyrics by Alissa (possibly even demos recorded) and just need to re-record the final tracks with Vicky.

Well Prisoners was better then all of Arch Enemy's albums, so maybe the new Arch Enemy will be good.

Well since there was no Arch Enemy article despite them being a bigger band (?) the reason Angela left was to focus on family (apparently she's married to Michael Amott anyways) but she will remain as the manager for Arch Enemy.

So, the Arch Enemy article got deleted along with all the relevant quotes and links that have anything to do with that band? Along with the info about their upcoming album and imminent release of the first song with their new vocalist. It got deleted in favor of this article that basically has nothing to say besides, "we lost our vocalist and found another one on YouTube." Seems to me that there were plenty of reasons for both articles.

I heard that she's not married to him, and that that all was just a joke or something. The article just says that she wants to focus more on HER family.


Either way though holy balls never saw this coming. I kind of find the Agonist's vocalist's screams sort of annoying, so it'll be interesting to see how she fits into Arch Enemy. Good to see them getting more new blood, though. Hopefully we get another Wages of Sin.

Just tried listening through The Agonist's new album. I really don't like her clean voice. Tbh I don't think she can sing at all. :/ Her voice sounds awkward and strained.

Amott's biggest mistake was not seeing Carcass through and making Arch Enemy a side project.

I was surprised to see all the people saying Arch Enemy is crap on the other thread that was up. I agree they may not have been good in along time, but "Wages Of Sin" is a solid album.
