Samong Traisattha Murdered 2014-01-14 by dragoth | 19 Comments | Black metal vocalist Samong Traisattha was murdered last Wednesday, January 8th by a fan of Surrender of Divinity (Samong's band) named Prakarn Harnphanbusakorn, for supposedly not been 'a real Satanist'. Prakarn Harnphanbusakorn went to Samong's house for a t-shirt printing, where after an argument ensued, Parkarn stabbed Samong over 30 times. Police are still searching for Pakarn. Pakarn's reasoning for the murder is that he is a true Satanist, he says the following:
"I have intended to end my life since I was 25. Because I'll die eventually, I want to drag down those who tarnish Satanism with me. But I refrained from killing women and children," he wrote.
"In my view, I have more respect for devoted Buddhists, Christians and Muslims than those who call themselves Satanists without knowing anything about it," he wrote. "If I did not kill him, I'm sure he would be murdered by someone else later."

Heck Nergal (admittedly death metal) is a pretty hardcore Satanist and he was a judge on The Voice of Poland where the vast majority of key figures were Christian. Just cos you're Satanist doesn't mean you have to punish non-believers. This is just Satanist fundamentalism and it's dumb but then again all religions have their extreme fundamentalist wings.
