Looks good. Was hoping for some Roy Khan action as well though, that's too bad.

Just by looking at how many '70s prog rock juggernauts are participating, I expect the sound of the new album to shift significantly towards their domain.

What if they try the more modern Arjen interpretation of prog? :D

As always, Ayreon is back with good music. The Voice o JB is nice, I always think his tone could fit perfectly with Ayeron. The albums that he recorded with Spiritual beggars are real jewells, because his participation

Jordan Rudess is bringing his lame as hell synth solo style

Because nobody likes those things called Hammond organs anymore.
Sorry, just the truth.
Still pumped for this album. Maybe if we're lucky, Rudess will just use his continuum instead. It sounds better anyways.

Nah people do, but prog metallers tend to veer away.

That has been a common weakness of many prog metal bands. Unfortunately, they just don't see it the right way.

Still nice to see Rickman and Emerson involved, along with Steve Hackett and John Wetton. It may perhaps be the closest thing to a group of competent people.

To those dissing Rudess' style, listen to the new Levin Minnemann Rudess album, it's awesome.

I used to be the one defending labrie and rudess, I can't defend labrie anymore, rudess I still can to
a large extent, but he really just needs to use the other facets of his musical style in DT and other
projects, especially in his solo's, thats why I love solo's like the Blind faith and Bridges in the
sky ones which has the hammond organ tone, etc.

I saw the trailer for the new rudess project and it seems like LTE
