yep album was a huge let down

The guy needs time to relax and get the juices flowing to more creative places again. He just released a massive compilation of EPs that explored a huge variety of tones and ideas. Im sure that took a lot out of him creatively.

I miss when this band was more prog rock.

Let Go, Whisper and Girl were good jams. Video is weird.

Seriously that song is so much better than everything else on Migrant. Shame is the only song that comes close to it.

I didn't think Migrant was a MASSIVE disappointment, it had a fair amount of good tunes. But definitely the weakest thing they've done yet. Felt a little too safe.

Both Migrant and The Color Spectrum are ok, with a few good songs here and there. The Act albums are all astronomically better.

Im not a fan of the production of this band. Namely on the drums and vocals. Drums seem to lack dynamics and the vocals seem almost electronic in a way

Migrant was alright. A few great tracks, a decent amount of good tracks, and a few boring ones that dragged it down.

I liked what I heard from the Annex more than the album itself.

Album ruled, sure it wasn't as perfect as everything else he's written but that's the difference between an 8/10 and a 10/10 give Casey a break

It's funny that someone used the word "safe" to describe Migrant. I said that over on their forum in a completely inoffensive way and Casey flipped a shit and wrote me a wall of text about how he poured his heart and soul into that album.

Migrant sounded like the violet ep as a full length album. I enjoyed it but too many songs just didn't click with me and seemed to drag.

Also zxlkho, thats mental. I woulda been like "wow, soz casey if I have an opinion on your album".

I love the album though, not their best but I enjoy it over TCS.

Love the slide guitar on the intro/chorus, awesome song. Migrant is pretty damn catchy from start to finish.
