It sounds like it's gonna be a hasbeen one hit wonder nu-metal band trying to be modern with low bassy electronics and RnB style rapping. At least when you're gonna be making a comeback you stick to the style you used to do back when you played for the fun of playing cos it's not like anyone's gonna care about you now.

And credit where it's due at least Limp Bizkit have just carried on playing whatever the hell they want to play when they've come back.

Until today I had never heard any of their songs other than the one on that compilation with System of a Down's cover of Shame and I wish it had stayed that way.

TBH At least you can credit Limp Bizkit with having some artistic integrity having worked hard to reach their high point and having a raw production, aggressive and punky vibe on their first album with little sign of having much aspiration of reaching the level they did. Unlike Crazy Town who came in after the boom as one of those many acts that tried to cash in on nu metal's success and got signed pretty quick, creating that negative stereotype of the nu metal singers living up like hip hop stars with tattoos and bling and stupid haircuts and loadsa bitches (tbh there are three distinct stereotypes: The dreadlocked/tracksuit wearing whiners with the downtuned guitars and chunky riffs, the wannabe gansta rappers like Crazy Town and then the freaks (hey there Coal Chamber)).
