New Defeater track

2013-06-04 by Julianna Reed EMERITUS | 82 Comments
"Bastard" marks the first release from its hardcore group Defeater's upcoming album Letters Home.
There are two important things to know about it:

1. The song is more raw than the band's latest album, which is sure to satisfy many fans.

2. It is not, contrary to popular belief, a cover of Tyler, the Creator's first album.

Can someone remind me of the band name of all of the Travels-Era Defeater guys? Jay had another band that released an album the same year as Travels and I'm struggling to remember what their name was

Sluts. Was basically Defeater, just without Derrick and any sort of narrative.

That's not it. Sluts was Defeater and then they changed their name. I'm talking about a different band that had the same drummer, bassist and Jay. It was more technical kinda post hardcore and Jay was on vocals and guitar

That's it! Thank you!

Looks like I was wrong about the members. They share both of Defeaters guitarists though
