Aesop Rock's New Project

2013-02-13 by NBA | 23 Comments
Indie rap giant Aesop Rock has a new relationship with Kimya Dawson, one half of the Moldy Peaches. Both have collaborated in the past in the form of guest spots but they have now formed a new supergroup called The Uncluded. A tracklisting and music video for their lead single "Earthquake" have also been released.

Both video and tracklisting can be seen here:

@Brick:

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't Kimya Dawson the chick from Crows on the last album with the incredibly annoying and dull voice?? That's my sample size but if that is an indication of what she generally does then I have to stand by my previous statement.

As a die-hard Aesop Rock fan, I am obligated to check out the album when it comes out but based off this track I'm not too optimistic about it...

man you guys gotta calm down. her voice works in that off-but-fits-the-mood kinda way, kinda like... idk, Tom Waits or other people with eccentric voices. just listen to all her songs on the Juno soundtrack, 'Loose Lips' specifically

like seriously Gnarly did you really just form your opinion of an entire musician off a fucking chorus in somebody else's song
