Of Machines hint at new EP?

2013-01-11 by East Hastings | 46 Comments
Post-hardcore group Of Machines, who have been inactive following multiple member departures in the years
following their debut album As If Everything Was Held in Place, have posted a status on their Facebook page
that might point to new recorded music.

Yesterday, the band's Facebook status read: "If we recorded a new ep... Who would want it?" It's unclear who
will be involved as part of the group, or if this will come to
fruition.

An update: according to the lead guitarist's Facebook account, the EP is officially planned for release,
and the
original lineup is set to appear on the release.

Well, as long as they confirmed it, I guess this is relevant news.

Kinda stoked...I wonder if their drummer will return for the recording of it?

"It's unclear who will be involved as part of the group"

Most likely the people who were shown in the new(er) Facebook profile picture that they put up a short time ago. They've been hinting at this for ages.

Austin was kicked out of Of Machines before they actually broke up originally, so I don't think it should even be a question if he'll be apart of the new EP.
