The other two finalists were good, but her final performance of "Cry" by Faith Hill was outstanding. Not to mention that she sold crazy amounts of singles on iTunes, reaching #1 multiple times. The Voice will finally have an artist who can sell records, unlike the previous two winners.

She was probably pushed in the country direction by her coach Blake Shelton. She picked him for whatever reason.

If I'm honest I could never stand her or her band but good for her I guess. As much as I don't like her I can admit she has got an amazing voice although I do think that she had an unfair advantage over the other contestants - and didn't she already release a solo ep before she went on the voice? She probably could have gotten a deal without the voice and she probably would have done extremely well on account of her voice and looks.
