New Carcass Album Confirmed

2012-12-03 by RedTravis713 | 44 Comments
Carcass bassist/vocalist Jeff Walker has confirmed to Decibel that the reported rumors about a new Carcass album are actually true. Matthias Voigt is indeed not playing drums on the new album but Daniel Wilding is. The follow-up to 1996's Swansong will be released in 2013 through a yet-to-be determined label.

The recording line-up consists of Bill Steer (guitars), Jeff Walker (bass/vocals), Daniel Wilding (drums), and the band will add another guitarist for their live performances.

Not sure what to expect, but for the moment I'm happy they have Colin Richardson producing and that Mike "the king of sterile, uninspired, and overproduced death metal" Amott is not involved. I'm sure it'll be at least a 3.5
