S.O.S
Same old shit.
| |
Damn Lambesis is pretty buff
| |
His voice got as grizzly as his face.
| |
pretty good, as usual.
| |
Their bassist and guitarist need to work out.
| |
bleh
| |
Even Job For a Cowboy's vocalist is retardedly buff as fuck now too.
I enjoyed it, and I think that's saying something. AILD are able to pull off generi"core" in a decent way. good for them.
| |
i swear they were a bit thrashy at one point now they're just playing genericore
| |
Song was okay, I thought Cauterize was alot better though. Can't wait for the album.
| |
This is pretty good. I actually like the cleans.
| |
decent
| |
I won't criticize in pure fear that Tim could see it and squash my skinny ish
| |
couldnt find even one positive quality to this song its fucking horrible
| |
Damn shoot the clean vocalist
| |
Okay song. Clean vocals suck so bad though.
| |
tim is scary D:
| |
Songs rules
| |
Fuckin rules
| |
cool song
| |
Not bad, I liked it. I'm surprised this band is still around.
| |
bad
| |
Ill always have a soft spot for this band.
And a hard dick for them.
| |
one of my favorite metalcore bands. This better or worse than Cauterize?
| |
sweet : )
| |
This is a good song but the chorus feels kinda forced, not as powerful as past ones. Hope this is as good as Powerless Rise
| |
This is actually one of the softest choruses they've ever done. I think it's pretty cool they are diverging from what they usually do
| |
Better than the new Parkway Song.
| |
InnocentShadow, what do you mean it's one of the softest choruses they've ever done? It doesn't seem like it. For
example, Darkest Nights had a much softer chorus and I'm sure there are others.
| |
i'm sorry, but this song fucking sucks. band's going downhill. well, them along with the rest of metalcore.
| |
drummer needs to post his workout routine jealous as fuck
| |
its even more impressive with JFAC, Davy used to be as skinny as i am, and yes this is better than new PWD
| |
I'm fucking pumped for the new album. AILD got me into metal/hardcore.
| |
Cleans suck as usual but are still tolerable. Other than that song was good
| |
song fucking rules.
| |
never ending circle pit is bad ass
| |
Sweet song and video.
| |
The chorus is just alright, nothing like Parallels or the one from Anger and Apathy. Hope to catch them again if they come around, really great live show
| |
Not great, but I still have high hopes for the rest of the album.
| |
Not bad.
The two singles have been really weak, though. Looks like this won't top The Powerless Rise :/
| |
Super excited for this
| |
As the sputnik authority on AILD, I must say, fuck I dug this, dug the chorus way harder than most choruses on The Powerless Rise, fuck I'm actually stoked on AILD again
| |
damn Trebor you like as i lay dying?
| |
So many sleeveless shirts, so little time.
| |
They became big weightlifters recently, I miss the days of chubby Tim
@Atari, yeah man they were my favorite band in Jr. High
| |
Nice I love them too lol. Just based on what I've seen as far as your music taste I was surprised to see you liked them so much.
| |
So amped for this album. Sick song. I actually don't like the clean vocal chorus that much even though I usually love their cleans, and I think the cleans on the rest of the album previews sound good, but this is pretty ill overall.
| |
I jammed almost nothing but metalcore between like grades 7-9 so
| |
Song rocks. I'll always like these guys though.
| |
It's As I Lay Dying like they've always been. They never really changed much they just improved on technique.
| |
Still love it
| |
I heard a clip for the song Whispering Silence and it sounds pretty fucking great. Their soundcloud page has several clips from the album if anyone is interested. I expect the rest of the album to be a quite a bit better than this.
| |
It like itbut it sounds like just an average song from any of their last 3 albums. and holy shit he got ripped
| |
Basically what you would expect from these guys. nothing groundbreaking, still enjoyable.
| |
Solid stuff. I like the breakdown too.
| |
That clip rules Durrzo, at the end you can hear what sounds like a sweet melodic section but it gets cut off
| |
loved it
| |
new material! me happy
| |
Song has been getting so much hate but that was pretty enjoyable, am i the only one who digs the cleans?, they seem like they have more balls behind them, and Tim is just a fucking beast he has to be on roids dude got huge from Parallels video to this.
| |
the bit at 2:36 was fucking awesome
| |
i liked the cleans
| |
the emasculate cleans and the boring chug chug behind the emasculate cleans killed the whole momentum of the song
| |
I actually like that the chorus is slowed down, sometimes that kills a song but I think it works here.
| |
The song was completely awesome! I enjoyed "Cauterize" much more, but this was still a great listen.
As for the video? Well...I guess it worked. As I Lay Dying were one of the first bands (from what I remember) that did the "subplot" of 'someone creating/finding something and at the end it resolves' scenario, and it's definitely apparent in this video. Is it done well? Well...no. It's almost like a mix between "Confined" and "Through Struggle" (though I did enjoy "Through Struggle"'s subplot). The band shots were well done though.
| |
Not bad. I have a feeling this song will grow on me.
| |
it's actually pretty good
| |
The cleans are probably better than anything off of the Powerless Rise so that's good news. I actually enjoyed it
| |
Nice to see metal dudes taking pride in themselves to be in shape. For such a macho, aggressive genre singing about war, death, national pride and vikings and shit im surprised there aren't that many buff motherfuckers in metal.
| |
What happened to the thrash? That was the one thing I really liked about them.
| |
marginally Better than the new Parkway Song. [3]
| |
damn, this was pretty badass until the gay cleans came in followed by a boring breakdown
| |
its awesome, but PWD is better
| |
Andcas doesn't like it? Yeah, that confirms it, the song is ACTUALLY good.
| |
knowledge.
| |
LOLOLOLOLOL You're too hardcore for me Cas. You know I'd never challenge your logic.
| |
Though, if I can still get that skull fucking....is that still on the table?
| |
Still rules
| |
Still rules
yeah i like this too.
| |
Rosa has a tiny dick.
| |
I bet my nigga Tim can deadlift 550 bra.
| |
not without blowing out his asshole first
| |
Same old stuff. I'll probably enjoy. Also, when the fuck did he get so ripped?
| |
Tim is crazy now, didn't expect him to get ripped as shit. Song kills as usual. Stoked for the new album also.
| |
id like to see them go back and redo the vocal tracks on the old albums, that would be badass
| |
Excited that they went with Stevenson to produce this, it won't sound like the over-compressed garbage of some of their contemporaries.
| |
New band pic shows the guns, nice
| |
the album art looks like the black dahlia murder's album cover
| |
i enjoyed that up until the part when the clean singing came in. i normally find this band boring as fuck though
| |
should be good
| |
i like this guy's singing.
| |
hes always been annoying but at least hes better than the last guy.
| |
Not bad.
| |
Pretty boss!
| |
How is this better than new parkway?
They had me for the first 3/4 the song and then the inevitable cleans came. They weren't as bad as they were on the last album but they still brought the song down by a full point. But then again I'm probably biased because I thought the cleans made their last 2 albums unlistenable
| |
Oh it is better.. Imo. Parkway is pretty beast too though
| |
