Its not actual dubstep. Jeff (twitter music insider) described it as popstep. Popsteppy bass line. But i think its still gonna suck.

But what about this U2 sounding epic "State Of Grace"? This is gonna be great.

13 other songs are obviously all gonna be 10/10.

"My article or the Rolling Stone one?"

This article - it just feels like making something small into a huge deal. All that we heard was that there's a dubstep-inspired bass breakdown, which can be said for 80% of today's radio pop already. It isn't really Taylor Swift 'attempting' dubstep, at least in my eyes, because all we know about the dubstep-inspired breakdown is, well, that it's influenced by the genre. You know what I mean?

I hope that doesn't come across as bitchy.

Omaha has a point, the article does exaggerate in the sense that the article title is somewhat indicative that there's more than just a "dubstep inspired" breakdown.

I liked her last album, but why OH WHY does she have to do this?

And the fact that she worked with all those people, and is still writing about romance and heartbreak. I mean, her music is fairly good, but her lyrics are horrible.

It doesn't come across as bitchy, I see what your saying. I wasn't trying to make a huge deal out of it, it's just that the fact that a country pop artist is being influenced by dubstep caught my attention and I thought it would make for an interesting news article, didn't really meant to blow it up. I couldn't really think of a better title for the article either, I tried to be as specific as I could.
