FOB Recording Song For Shrek 3

2006-12-22 by Dave de Sylvia EMERITUS | 16 Comments
Fall Out Boy are currently in the studio with producer Butch Walker, writing an recording an exclusive track for the upcoming third instalment of the Shrek series, reports AbsolutePunk.net.

The same website premiered 'The Carpal Tunnel of Love,' the first cut from the group's upcoming album Infinity on High, earlier this month. Walker himself guests as a performer on the Babyface-produced album, adding vocals to an as-yet-unnamed track, while rapper Jay-Z appears on the opening track 'Car Crash Hearts.'

Infinity on High is due for release on February 7 and is preceded by the single 'This Ain't a Scene, It's an Arms Race.' The video for the single can be streamed from the group's official website.

Fall Out Boy are becoming one of the finest modern mainstream bands to date. Becoming. They need a bit more work, a couple albums and they'll be set.

So...I don't really like Shrek, and I don't care for Fall Out Boy. This is pretty much the worst thing ever to me. Who would fork over 10 bucks to watch this?

Do they even care how big of sellouts they are? P.S. Why are people who shop in Wal-mart so freaky looking? This Message Edited On 12.22.06

Haha wow. This is down right ridiculous now. I feel after this release that 'punk' will be dropping out of their genre.
