I do agree with GZA; people will probably be reluctant to accept this as anything other than cheesy and contrived, but it could be really awesome (think "Chemical Calisthenics" by Blackalicious).

Always the best member of Wu Tang in my book, Liquid Swords is unparalleled in their canon. I'll gladly listen to this shit when it drops, and if it educates me on some scientific matters as well that's even cooler. Fuckin' GZA.

Beneath the Surface was a grossly underated album. I'll stick my neck out here, it was better than liquid swords. It stood on its own without the wu'isms which works much better for me.

Beneath The Surface is slightly underrated. I have it at a 4.5 I believe.

He made a statement awhile ago saying he was gonna do a few things before LS2 because RZA was busy with his movie career, but LS2 is still on.

Liquid Swords 1.5 will be fucking terrible no doubt. I don't think it means he ISN'T doing LS 2 though. Betting GZA's re-recorded lyrics (which is a fucking stupid idea) will lose all of his laid-back smooth flow that the original had.

Oh ye of little faith. He's recording it with a live band, it could be really good.
