I actually prefer this to the latest Leprous album ten fold. The orchestration on this is incredible. The last track is just mindblowing.

"get"? come now, it's a collection of cliché after cliché with annoying vocals and power chords. now we're ballroom! now we're western! now we're something else we saw themed in the movies! etc. :]

You do realize that after multiple millenia of existing....all music can be considered cliche now and
is an awful word to describe music anyways.

i realize that and it's irrelevant, point is they just desperately jump from theme to theme with no cohesion just trying desperately to appeal to a wide group of people who think mixing metal with something completely unrelated over and over is 'innovative'

well it's pretty much a very bad compilation of different widely known themes with a few metal bits trying to impress the people that think a mix of metal and other conventional forms of music is innovative
but it did have one good track, heroines
