KoRn MTV: Unplugged Update

2006-12-08 by Jom | 10 Comments
As previously reported (http://www.sputnikmusic.com/news.php?newsid=1943), KoRn will be in MTV Studios recording an acoustic set for the MTV: Unplugged series. The show will air sometime in February 2007 in the Americas, Europe, and Asia on MTV and all its affiliated stations and websites, including MTV.com.

The Unplugged performance will feature other guest performers, including Chester Bennington of Linkin Park, Amy Lee of Evanescence, as well as some members of The Cure.

The Unplugged CD will arrive in stores February 20, 2007.

A CD/DVD of the band's recently-completed Family Values Tour is expected to hit stores within the next month or two. KoRn hit the studio for their eighth studio album back in October.

From what I have this band is only OK. I don't know ebnough to say whether I think they'd do a good unplugged performance or not.

I don't know if KoRn will kick-ass acoustic style like Tenacious D, but I hope it works out. The songs I'd probably like to hear them do unplugged are "Shoots and Ladders", "A.D.I.D.A.S.", "Got the Life", "Did My Time", and "Coming Undone".This Message Edited On 12.08.06

Korn aren't the type of band that would transfer to acoustic that well so I'm not really keeping my hopes up.

Amy Lee has one of the most annoying voices I have ever heard.

Korn: Unshucked.

Sorry, couldn't resist Personally, I think Korn is the worst band to ever plague the earth.

someone posted on youtube already a video of them performing "Falling Away From Me" acoustic and it sucks so hard. It was horrible. They had another song as well, but i couldn't get through Falling Away all the way through so i didn't even bother with the other song. I doubt this would be any good.
