Pretty obvious they are going back to their Hollow Crown side. On Here and now Artwork this logo was
nowhere to be found. Now that logo is front stage in your face. Definitely a conscious decision to
have fans react with comparisons to the HC artwork and ultimately the sonic qualities of that album.
It's like they are saying, "hey fucker you wanted Hollow Crown 2, eat this shit!"

Kinda disappointed that they are going back to the hollow crown sound. Not that I didn't love that album too, but Im one of a very few people who though THAN was their best.

Devil's island was a call back, so it make sense they used the logo. I bet they have been playing a
lot of their old material live, and only the heavier tracks off the here and now.

Not really a fan of the cover, just because it looks pretty much identical to Hollow Crown's.
Still, if this is anything like their first three albums, I'm sure I'll love it as I love all them (Ruin in particular).

Yeah i'm not sure how to explain it. Something about the vocals is weird. they sound like they're muffled or far away compared to the THAN. The only song I like from THAN is Delete, Rewind but I guess I like the vocals better. Musically though Hollow Crown shits all over THAN.

I love Sam's cleans on THAN but I can't stand the screams. Glad he went back to normal screams on Devils Island.

The screams are pretty similar on Devils Island and The Here And Now.

I don't know man. You can tell he's trying to do the Hollow Crown style but can't anymore. Sounds more like Here And Now to me.

Theres a slight difference for sure. But I think its cause his vox were a bit pushed back into the mix on Hollow Crown. But they sound more natural, more even and flowing now again, whereas on THAN they sounded forced and like he was choking almost.

Choking that's a good comparison. Anyways, stoked for the new album.

I fully agree with this, Hollow Crown wasn't that good. Especially compared to nightmares.

I want a mixture of Hollow Crown and Nightmares. Wasn't too big on Ruin

but Ruin was pretty much a mix of the two different sounds.

It didn't repeatedly use the same formula like Hollow Crown did and it didn't quite have the face melting technicality of Nightmares.

This will be awesome I don't think there's any need to worry. Does Architects ever suck when their heavy, i don't think so. Integrating cleans into heavy parts creatively instead of just doing choruses would be sweet.
