beach boys fucking rule
|

Cool
Smile Sessions was legit
|
| |
:O
|
| |
nice
|
| |
Well Brian Wilson is with them, it's not too bad.
|
| |
Wilson only actually toured with them for like three years back in the day
|
| |
really can't imagine listening, think most of the site is probably with me
|
| |
I dunno whether a tour would suck or not, but I'd consider going if they came to the UK, seeing as it'd probably be the last time to see them on stage.
|
| |
ew no thanks
|
| |
will suck
keep the legacy
|
| |
The only thing i have listened from these guys was those two songs in the Good Morning Vietnam OST.
Pretty cool stuff.
|
| |
Too past their prime.
|
| |
my grandpa is stoked
|
| |
cool, should be interesting. hopefully they've still got their pipes.
|
| |
The beach boys reunite and have recorded a handful of new songs.. and are currently dabbling in dubstep.
|
| |
with Jonathan Davis as guest vocalist
|
| |
pet sounds is still one of the best albums ever
|
| |
OMG! OMG! OMG!
|
| |
might be like scott walker shit
|
| |
hopefully the album doesn't suck
|
| |
Whats the point
|
| |
Jesus Fucking Coltrane this is like Groundhogs Day for the terrible modern bands they influenced who seem to keep popping up on the radio
4 more years of insipid songs, thank you.
|
| |
Jackie Chan just got so fucking stoked.
Chris Rock... not so much.
|
| |
Pretty sure they played the cape cod melody tent 5 years ago when i worked there
|
| |
Pet Sounds and Smile are sooooo good and I'm digging the snip of the new song so far.
|
| |
"my grandpa is stoked"
I lol'd
|
| |
But it all seriousness, Smile is easily the best album released this year.
|
| |
This is fucking awesome!
|
| |
If they sound the same then FUCK YEAHz!
|
| |
i've never been in love
but I saw
Brian Wilson once
I was druuuunk and screeeeaamed too louwwwd
OVER THE FALSETTO IN YOU STILL BELIEVE IN ME
|
| |
One of the greatest US bands of the 60's.
|
| |
Well I mean... why not, right?
|
| |
We shall sea.
|
| |
great news
|
| |
I am totally going to get my dad to go see them with me if they come to Scotland, which -now that I think about it- is unlikely for a world tour...
|
| |
I've got hope for it considering how consistent Brian Wilson's solo stuff is.
|
| |
terrible live band
|
| |
"Godawful idea, can only end in disaster imo"
ya cause SMiLE was awful.
|
| |
Smile was recorded 45 years ago...
I love the Beach Boys so on one hand this is great news, and I'd definitely go if they came near me.
...But I can't seen this ending well.
|
| |
hey this is awesome and I'm stoked. It is the beach boys you have to give them a chance.
|
| |
da beach boyz!
|
| |
People who don't like/care for The Beach Boys should just kill themselves right now
|
| |
People who don't like/care for The Beach Boys should just kill themselves right now
|
| |
I love The Beach Boys as much as the next guy but a new album in 2012? Come on...
|
| |
Brian Wilson's solo stuff has actually been alright, this should be good.
|
| |
Holy shit. These guys are still alive?
|
| |
brian wilson hasn't been good in..
oh wait he's never been good
|
| |
dudes in scarves are stoked
|
| |
Not many bands can do this... I mean, a 50 year reunion? That's just amazing.
Not an over-the-top, but it'll be interesting to see what comes of it. Might be interesting.
|
| |
Haha amazing!
|
| |
"brian wilson hasn't been good in..
oh wait he's never been good"
This is either poor sarcasm or the most retarded thing I've ever read.
|
| |
they should experiment with djent
|
| |
A bunch of 70 year old men trying to sing like 20 year old men. No thanks.
|
| |
"Ire hasn't been funny in..
oh wait he's never been funny"
I fixed it for you bro
|
| |
"they should experiment with djent"
And autotune. And all that good stuff.
|
| |
"my grandpa is stoked"
same for ol' Jethro
|
| |
nah i'm joking but i've never really cared for wilson beyond pet sounds
|
| |
I'd agree in the sense that Smile is definitely not for everyone, it's more like moments of utter brilliance with amazing pop songs in between as opposed to the tour-de-force of inspiration on Pet Sounds.
But really, Surf's Up is probably the finest pop song ever made
|
| |
I'd be lying if I said I was aware of more than two songs by these guys, way before my time.
|
| |
