Idk if I want them to release a new album. I'm worried its going to be very underwhelming.

I think the album is almost finished, they have been writing and in the studio recording it for a while now, it will be out in the next year no doubt.

Definitely going to try to go to the Grand Prairie show. And I imagine they'll be putting the final touches on their album afterward.

The problem with Tool is that they don't do anything for like, 6 years. They'll go on random mini-tours, but never release any new material. They could at least throw their fans a bone by releasing something in that span of time. Maybe some lost songs that didn't make onto an album, a remaster of an old album with new additions. Something would be nice.

I saw them live on my birthday one year. I hadn't listened to any of their newer material so I didn't realize they added vocals since then. Totally ruined the experience. The guy can't sing at all. Should have stayed instrumental.

Saw the Melvins open for Tool once and it was good.

Kinda boring live band tbh
