maybe the worst song they have ever done
|
| |
this and the single they released are so bad I could honestly see myself 1ing this if the rest continues in the same way
|
| |
I liked their other two albums, but this is just shit
|
| |
cue the shikari shuffle gif
|
| |
the song would be way better if it was without this part:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sA1FrfuBMio
|
| |
is this a joke
|
| |
I don't mind it.
|
| |
They're SOOO bad. How do they still have fans?
|
| |
Ughhhhh I agree with a youtube comment by a person named Suavecharlie, fml.
|
| |
seriously, I could mess around in Garageband for an hour and come up with something better.
|
| |
lmao wow this band
|
| |
"They're SOOO bad. How do they still have fans?"
15 year old girls exist
|
| |
Enter Shakira.
|
| |
do they even take themselves seriously anymore?
|
| |
I kinda liked the other song they released, but this is beyond terrible.
|
| |
Really, really liked them when I still didn't know what good music is, but their latest releases were pretty bad and they really started growing off of me lately. Seeing them live was fun though.
|
| |
This song reflects what I love about Enter Shikari. The fact that they write songs about real issues concerning humanity today. The pure passion in their music puts me in a mood to start a revolution. The fact that they've never created a boring track is amazing, every song they've made has been different to their previous songs, not many artists can do that and I fucking rate them for it.

I like how I can hear the singers accent. 666/666.
|
| |
Ok, Time for plan B
|
| |
Why are they getting so "chopped up" sounding? Just stick with a standard structure and be cool.
|
| |
this song is abysmal
|
| |
Destablize was pretty cool I thought...
|
| |
do you think girls actually like this...? doubt it
|
| |
Scene girls pretend to like abrasive music to fit in
|
| |
Thread rules, mostly because of everyone hating on Enter Shikari.
|
| |
i hear they play this to prisoners in guantanamo bay.
|
| |
SORRY YOU'RE NOT A WINNERRRRRR
|
| |
YABBA DABBA DOO!
|
| |
*Really serious political rant*....*BLIP.BLIP.BLIP.BLIP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLOOP.BLOOP.*
|
| |
Destabilise was cool and then everything after that just sucked shit
|
| |
Yep, what's happened to them?
Absolutely dire. They take themselves way too seriously and are almost at a preachy state. I liked their albums and stuff before this but this is just shite.
|
| |
Now I have a habit of disliking any new material these guys put out for it to slowly grow on me over time, so I'll leave my final thoughts at the door for now but it sounded pretty shit.
|
| |
what the fuck is this? loved take to the skies, but do we really need a political rant in every fucking song?
|
| |
Band starting blowing right after take to the skies dropped. only interesting material they ever had was their initial singles/eps. common dreads was bearable, but they are pretty poor. and this just sucks. just saw them on the TDWP tour as well and it was miserable sitting through their measly 7 song set.
|
| |
He said yabba dabba doo.
|
| |
This is fucking awesome, I don't really care what you guys think
|
| |
it's a grower.
the first time you listen to it, it's complete shite.
|
| |
This song grows on you like a tumour. It gets worse and worse.
|
| |
I don't hate it as much as I originally did, I'll put it that way
|
| |
Never saw the appeal of this band. Why listen to this when there's so much decent post-hardcore out there.
|
| |
It's not that bad actually, why all the hate? It's not like they're Brokencyde.
|
| |
Just because something is merely mediocre rather than soul-killingly bad doesn't make it any better.
|
| |
"Never saw the appeal of this
band. Why listen to this when
there's so much decent post-
hardcore out there."
Because they used to be decent?
|
| |
I really liked Common Dreads, but from the sounds of it, I will not be listening to the new album
|
| |
this blows asshole
|
| |
"*Really serious political rant*....*BLIP.BLIP.BLIP.BLIP.BLEEP.BLEEP.BLOOP.BLOOP.*
"
loled hard
|
| |
I like that you made my comment look like a poem Fish.
"Because they used to be decent?"
I've never thought of these guys as anything beyond occasionally energetic but mostly bland electronica-infused post-hardcore. So average at best. But you're free to believe differently.
|
| |
"I like that you made my comment look like a poem Fish. "
my phone does that for some reason
|
| |
Awww so it wasn't intentional. THE MAGIC IS GONE FISH.
|
| |
):
|
| |
Awful band that have never been good.
|
| |
How haven't they disbanded at this point?
|
| |
Why would they?
|
| |
Because, the last I had checked in with them (granted, a year or two ago) they hadn't really peeked to
any sustainable-money-making popularity, and where continuously mocked in numerous music forums?
Accompany this to the numerous bands within their scene breaking up, I find it odd that they remained
in tact.
|
| |
Their last album peaked at number 16 in the UK
And not every band breaks up because they aren't huge by their third album
|
| |
I don't typically keep up with UK charts, living in Canada and what not.
I realize that not every band breaks up by their third album (not including their 4 ep's), but they
have been playing for nearly 8-9 years now, and still haven't attained any high rate of success or
notoriety beyond the confines of their sub-genre. Though I may digress, knowing their UK success.
I can't presume living is all to well for them.
|
| |
That's the life of a musician for you
|
| |
What I'm saying is, I found the likelihood of them staying together to be the same as the likelihood
of, Novella, staying together.
This being the first news I had heard from them in ages, I had just made the presumption that they
followed in tracks of some of their peers.
|
| |
A novella is very probable to stay together considering how few pages it has
|
| |
They smelled more money I guess.
|
| |
A novella is very probable to stay together considering how few pages it has
Ha. I see what you did there.
But no, did Novella not disband either? I'm pretty sure they did.
|
| |
use to enjoy this band, havent been able to get through one minute of their new material.
|
| |
^ same here
I saw them live a couple years ago and they were great
|
| |
Doesn't every band's love for dubstep do that?
|
| |
shitkari
|
| |
hehehe when i was in cyprus, the radio presenter called them enter shakira after they played a song of theirs >.
|
| |
"they

notoriety beyond the confines of their sub-genre."
they're quite big in the UK
|
| |
hmm interesting, this song is one of a kind. What the hell sort of song writing/structure do they use lol I did like Quelle Surprise and Sssnakepit though..
|
| |
They are fairly popular in the UK, playing venues holding up to five to six thousand at the moment.
|
| |
Chavs love them
|
| |
conseuuumed
|
| |
Oh my god this band is horrible.
|
| |
What the fuck was that?
|
| |
Sssnakepit and Destabilise were kinda cool. Newer stuff is declining though. I have friends who think these guys are gods.
|
| |
Band was never good
|
| |
I didn't realise there was an avenue where that could be achieved!
|
| |
Listen to Arguing with Thermometers. It provides me with hope.
|
| |
This is so annoying, they had such cool EPs and then they ruined everything with their first LP. And after that................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................
|
| |
"Oh my god all the comments are the same "I hate change, change is bad. TTTS was the best. And their lyrics and music suck now." Well stop your fucking whining and go listen to that then. If they didn't change their style, they'd get boring really quickly which is why I'm able to keep listening to them. Their lyrics are some of the best of the decade. I've grown tired of bands talking about some girl or drugs or depression instead of focusing on something progressive. They've gotten better."
|
| |
lol
|
| |
oh boy
|
| |
"i cant stop replaying this! love this song so much! Enter shikari really knows how to make perfect music and awesome lyrics! rise against and enter shikari are the best bands on writing lyrics about the world/society!"
|
| |
Am I the only one who kinda likes that song.?
|
| |
Best lyrics of the decade? Sorry but lol
This song made me realise Enter Shikari have gotten to a stage in their music careers where their egos are so big that they think they can release any old shit and people will buy it and respect it.

sounds horrible
|
| |

|
| |
This song has grown on me....I think it's cool.
|
| |
Cool song.
|
| |
I guess being "genius" isn't hard these days.
|
| |
They're pioneer entrepreneurs...
