I wasn't entirely sure it was possible, but their writing seems to have improved even further.

This is quite a good song, but I feel like there arent enough moments where its just instruments. I had the same problem with Harder Harmonies.

Oh well, I'll probably get used to it, and it is still very, very good.

Good song, I'm not sure whether I'll like this album though. I feel as if it's gonna sound too much like Somewhere at the Bottom

Definitely one of the best songs they have released yet, if the rest of the album is of this quality, it will be amazing. So far, sounds like their songwriting has improved a lot too which is something that a lot of people didn't like about them in the past.

Still hoping that this album has a "Such Small Hands" not necessarily a song that is similar in any way, but just one that grabs you instantly, beats your over the head, and refuses to let you go in the way that Such Small Hands did, if you know what I'm saying.

"a vocalist short of a great band"

Completely agree, he totally ruins it for me. Every time I hear him pretend to cry on record I can't decide whether to laugh or cringe.

Maybe that's because there are thousands of users all of whom have different tastes? Nothing's ever going to be universally adored.

I've never been a fan of this band, and this song doesn't do anything to change that. It's not that they're bad: they're just not my thing.

Awesome song. And with Jordan's vocals, you either love or hate them. No middle ground. I happen to dig them hard. Can't wait to get my hands on the album

funny because that song was easily the worst part of the album

very time I hear him pretend to cry on record

"Every time I hear him pretend to cry on record I can't decide whether to laugh or cringe."

What in the fuck are you talking about? You were clearly not listening to La Dispute because that never happens in any of their songs...

Also, I'm glad to hear this song because I was getting a little worried with Harder Harmonies. That song sounded pretty typical for them, but this is definitely better.

It's not a genre tag, it's a term used to describe the group of post-hardcore bands emerging from the Grand Rapids, MI area (Pianos Become the Teeth, Make Do And Mend, Native.) If I saw those debates I would probably get annoyed, but I really enjoy most of the "wave" bands, so I'm okay with it.

lol storm band

@EaglesBecomeVultures I didn't know that, and I'm FROM Michigan. Every where I go (especially Twitter) people are talking about some new "wave" of post-hardcore/hardcore/screamo bands, most of them citing Iselia, Defeater, and La Dispute
