favorite worst nightmare was awesome. humbug sucked. lead single doesn't sound very good...
they put on a great show though if you get the chance to see them but i'm not sure i wanna drop 35 to see them again

I enjoyed the riffs and lyrics of songs like Fake Tales.. & When The Sun Goes Down, can't say the same for Brick-by-brick though. Also what's with all the long hair and Black Sabbath t-shirts lately? They just come off as trying too hard.

Instrumentally, the single was about a 4/5. Lyrically it was, like, a 1.5 or 2. I mean, it wasn't offensively bad or anything, but the lyrics might as well have not even existed.

Agreed, though I didn't find the melody particularly interesting either. With the lyrics, I don't think I would have minded so much if it were another band, but Arctic Monkeys are a band you expect to come up with really smart and witty lyrics, and these just aren't.

Eyes, Favourite Worst Nightmare is just as good, in my opinion, if not better.

Humbug is very underrated imo, I prefer it to Favourite Worst Nightmare. I think that individual songs on those two albums have been just as good as those on WPSIATWIN, but neither of them are anywhere near as consistent.
