The Intro REALLY dampened my hopes, but from 1:30 it's decent - almost a progressive metal feel to the second half of the song. Going to suspend judgment until I hear more.

According to a guy with a promo this track is the most 'progressive' track and the only one with no real chorus. It's an alright track I guess, better than most of the stuff on DMD.

I liked it, excited to see what else they got. If this song isn't the best their new album's got, I have high hopes for this band again.

DMD could have been a lot better if it wasn't for the horrible production...this was actually pretty good. Pleasantly surprised.

Last album was killer (best so far,even though I was one of the few that thought so), and this sounds great. Looking forward to another one without the overrated balled asshole.

I seriously do not understand how people can say this band sucks even if you don't like the music. Their songwriting and lyrics are so much better than most of the shit out there. I thought Dark Matter Dimensions was a pretty damn good album and what the hell was wrong with the production? Also, the new singers are both awesome and I am one of the first people who passed judgment and said Scar Symmetry would be finished once Christian left! I was definitely proved wrong. I cannot wait to hear more from this album. Oh and don't listen to Balls, he is one of those people that thinks he is some professor of metal and hates everything.

Eh, people have different tastes, and Scar Symmetry has always been trying rather hard to appeal to the majority of melodeath fans - a subgenre thats already generic and overdone as it is. So I can understand people disliking it.

But I've got to say, Holographic Symmetry was a fantastic treat. Sometimes I'm in the mood for some solid, fun melodeath and that album really pulls it off IMO.


DMD on the other hand... well, let's hope this time the singers manage to mesh better together and the guitarists move away from the muddy overproduced chugging.

Oh shit a battle ensues. First off Pankar....go fuck yourself. While your out discover good music and come back. Secondly, Scar Symmetry have degraded themselves musically ever since their first album which was solid. Pitch Black Progress, while decent was not up to par with SID, this began their quick descent into mediocrity. Now they force them selves to push out records way too fast to stay relevant. Substituting what really matters in favor of what doesnt matter. They never decided to mix things up and continue to rape the same formula over and over and over again.

I think you calling him an idiot already damaged the opportunity for a 'nice conversation.' Maybe you should take your own advice. HU for me was their best album but DMD was really watered down in comparison, and the new vocalists really suck compared to Christian. Having said that, i will listen to this song.

well this was definitely better than most if not all of DMD, i actually liked the beginning until the vocals came in. The clean sections just ruin it for me, they are so overdone and cheesy. At least they switched it up a little but tbh, its not much different from all their other stuff.

I had no problems at all with clean vocals on DMD and I like much the choruses on many songs. It
indeed had 4-5 boring songs, but songs 1,2,3,4,6,7,8,11 were great PLUS it had an awsome bonus
track.

I could have even have smt like a discussion about the music with that Balls, but since he says he
finds SID decent and everything after that crap, its obvious that SS just isnt for his taste, so
there would be no point.

Plus he talks bad about my music taste, while he knows shit about it. I d like to get a list of
bands i like and then take such a list by him, and then compare and see who listens to better stuff.

Band lost their magic. And since have descended into mediocrity. It's as clear as the day. Same thing has long happened to Soilwork. I have yet to hear a band of this ilk to intereset me. I'm no music elitists but I can distinguish good and bad music.

I like Soilwork too btw and they sure released 4 awsome CDs in their early days, and i think that The Panic Broadcast is a pretty good album, the best since Natural Born Chaos.
