| |
more like new mountain goats, new rae, and new lupe but yeah, i know what you mean.
| |
it's fantastic
| |
this month is pretty ridiculous
| |
I know it's only February and all but this year is shaping up to be pretty special.
| |
???? Link me to the new Lupe/Rae please
| |
I know it's only February and all but this year is shaping up to be pretty special.
pretty much everything that I was really excited for has ended up being terrible, so I'm glad that this turned out to be excellent.
| |
I love hearing JD rock out
| |
pretty much everything that I was really excited for has ended up being terrible, so I'm glad that this turned out to be excellent.
Haha it's been pretty much the opposite for me
| |
barbershop harmonies ftw
| |
Pretty super damn excited, I won't be able to listen for a while though damn.
Only songs I've heard was that vampire one and the one he played on conan, both were great.
| |
@Ali: It's probably a lot of the same albums too haha. The releases this year by The Decemberists, Bright Eyes, Iron and Wine, James Blake, Radiohead, Glassjaw, Destroyer, and Braids all left a lot to be desired.
| |
i agree with all of those being disappointments except James Blake
| |
that james blake cd is really cool on a song by song basis but it's fucking tedious to listen to the entire thing
| |
Haha yeah I was looking forward to Iron and Wine, Decemberists, James Blake, Bright Eyes and Radiohead, as well as Yuck and Ulcerate.
The only one I found particularly disappointing out of those was Bright Eyes, which I had ridiculously high expectations for because I loved Shell Games so much.
The two albums I was looking forward to most that are out now were Dropkick Murphys and The Joy Formidable, and I love both of them.
| |
James Blake has kept me sane this semester working in the mornings. I love it as an album, especially the Lindisfarnes
| |
Fuck yeah, I love album steams.
| |
Not listened to this band before but I'm liking what I hear.
| |
this is pretty damn brilliant to tell the truth
| |
steam lol
| |
I didn't particularly love this tbh, I'll give it another listen tomorrowe though.
| |
unrate it you fool
now
| |
3.0 = good
and in all likelihood that rating will only increase.
| |
oh hell yes
| |
FUCKING WIN! SO EXCITED RIGHT NOW.
I probably won't have time to listen to it now though, I'll have to wait until after Uni. :
| |
3.0 does not equal good when we're talking about The Mountain Goats
| |
This is soooooo good. I love The Mountain Goats so so so so so much
| |
This is more like it
| |
YES. This plus an instand mp3 download of the new Joan of Arc makes my day.
| |
JD is so black metal it hurts.
| |
damn this was early
| |
It leaked already, probably why.
| |
the leak was just a webrip
| |
this is really good. probably my favorite album theirs musically.
| |
Age of Kings is soooo good.
| |
This album is so good. I love it. Will definitely be on my end of year list.
| |
This is beautiful
| |
Really, really enjoyed it. =)
| |
From Age of Kings forward this gets classic status. AOTY so far for me.
