eh, thought white limo was better. sounds kinda like any other foo song off their last couple albums.
| |
Forgettable IMO
White Limo was way better.
| |
Hopefully this is just the standard radio track and the rest of the album will be as raw as White Limo
| |
Not likely, That hasn't been their m.o. to this point.
| |
more mainstream, but i really can't see this being as big a radio success as their recent stuff either. which is a good thing.
| |
It has the FF radio touch, indeed. However, you can hear the TCV and QOTSA nuances in there. I like it. Not as much as White Limo but, I like it nonetheless.
| |
new album has some great songs
| |
I actually really liked what I heard here. The drumming is phenomenal throughout, and the song as a whole really rules from 3:00-3:30. It's not as catchy as some of their other singles like The Pretender, but that doesn't bother me.
Album definitely has my interest.
| |
that was pretty good. i'm looking forward to the new album.
| |
Diggin' it. Taylor Hawkins is a beast.
| |
Excitement for a new TCV album >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> new FF
| |
Not bad. The Pretender was their worst single ever.
| |
I liked it. Although White Limo is better.
| |
Taylor Hawkins is skilled but rather plain, much like the Foo as a whole.
| |
Not very impressed tbh. I like their radio-friendly stuff but that made no impression on me at all.
White Limo was awesome though.
| |
Not near as good as White Limo
| |
agreed but i dig this shit
| |
I enjoyed it. It's good quality pop rock, and I liked the guitar.
| |
Most of the new album songs they previewed song like White Limo
| |
Pretty good. I'm glad they're finally starting to add solos to their songs.
| |
mixed feelings. White Limo was bomb.
| |
This is fantastic
| |
eh that was ok, white limo was better.
regardless, I like the direction that the last two songs seem to be pointed towards.
| |
Lemme put it this way: Is this as good as White Limo? No. Is this better than most of the singles they've ever released? Yes.
| |
I can't say i'm a fan of the Foo (or anything Grohl), but I must say that this song is pretty good. I love the drum-fills.
| |
pat fucking smear
| |
can't wait!
| |
sounds like slayer.
| |
Grohl has obviously been listening to alot of Meshuggah lately, and it shows.
| |
dem djents
| |
lol @ kill
| |
song is okay
| |
'Not bad. The Pretender was their worst single ever.'
Have you not heard Wheels? Embarrassingly bad. I just felt like running a warm bath and slitting my wrists on DG's behalf for that one.
| |
I really like this.
| |
Great song. Whole album sounds great live so if they can keep the energy from the live performances on record then this will be the shit.
| |
Ive heard this song 3 times already in the car on the way home, cant wait for the album.
| |
This album is gonna be strange. Still unsure if it will be strange in a good or bad way though.
| |
This song rules, can anyone recommend some other good Foo Fighters if I'm into this. I've obviously heard all their radio hits, whats a good overall CD?
| |
This album is gonna be strange.
Yeah, that definitely seems about right. The album cover also seems to be further evidence of this:

Ooh, psychadelia.
circa923, if you like this sort of stuff, you'll be wanting their 1st 2 albums (Self-titled & The Colour and the Shape).
| |
Meh.
| |
Don't know why everybody is talking bad about this song. This song isn't as good as White Limo but it is still a damn good song. I haven't been this excited for a Foo Fighter album since In Your Honor. Hopefully though this album will be much better than that one
| |
This is their best single in a long time. I thought they were starting to get bland after the last few records, but I am glad to see some balls and killer melodies back in the Foo mix. I don't know why people are dogging this one, this has all the elements of a kickass Foo song.
| |
agree!
