Wintersun Album Delayed 2006-10-23 by Shadows | 5 Comments | Although Wintersun announced the title and tracklist of their upcoming sophomore album Time way back on May 2, fans won't be hearing anything of the new material until that time next year.
According to a statement taken from wintermadness.com, Wintersun has been forced to cancel the three remaining shows of their Scandinavian tour, due to Amon Amarth having to leave for America immediately to support Children of Bodom on their upcoming tour.
Similarly, Wintersun has been forced to cancel their appearence in the 2007 Ragnarok festival due to booked studio time that has been designated as the mixing period of the new album. Unfortunately, this studio time won't come until May 2007, as the recording of Time took longer than expected, forcing Wintersun to reschedual their mixing period. With any luck, the followup to Wintersun's 2004 self-titled will be worth it.
