His voice was always hit-and-miss with me, I don't mind this much.
I felt like his voice wasn't quite compatible with some aspects of their music; hopefully someone else can take the reigns and add something meaningful to the band.

And also, as a qualification as a new singer, they posted

well, PMtoday is better, but this band was pretty rockin'. His vocals really fit this band. I'll be on the lookout for his
new project.

i think he was great on dreamhouse by empire theory was weak. a lot of people don't like this band because of the vocals and don't even bother listening to the amazing instrumentation the band has going because they cant stand his voice. this could be detrimental to the band but could also help them if they find someone who has a more accessible voice.

eh, there's enough high pitched vocalists out there, i'd love to find a melodic experimental band, or melodic prog with a unique sounding vocalist.

Well cove sucked ass live, and if he went to saosin that would be cool, but he fit PERFECTLY in Tides of Man.

I just heard that he left to be the second guitarist for the band DECODER. Hopefully its not true because that band sucks compared to ToM.

decoder released a statement saying he will not be joining the band. however saosin also did the same and said that they still have to meet him to see if he is worth having as a singer (because they have to get along i'm assuming)

so apparently he just upped and left his band without a sure thing joining another.

I just read this from a interview tides of man just posted about him leaving.



''Last September, Tilian said some of the Saosin guys had come to our show at the Troubadour in Los
Angeles to check it out, because they had been interested in seeing Tilian. According to Tilian they
really enjoyed the show. After that tour, Tilian presented the idea of going to try out and join
Saosin as well as be a part of Tides Of Man. After many meetings together as a band, we all decided
that it wouldn't be best for our survival, even if it did expose our band somewhat.''

''In the middle of our last tour in December, Tilian brought up again that he really wanted to
pursue trying out for the Saosin spot again. Since it had come up before and we still held true to
it not being workable in terms of how we follow our path in Tides Of Man, we gave him the choice of
either going to do that or stay with us. There's no doing both bands in our minds, so we had to part
ways based on his decision. As you know, it takes a lot of work and it can be a tough road to make

So this has been going on with saosin awhile, more than likely he will be in saosin if you ask me.
