Coldplay takes a break 2006-10-03 by Isola | 9 Comments | It can take up to five years before the the successful London Alt/Indie/Pop/Rock band will release a whole new record, says singer Chris Martin to gigwise.com. All members of the band have spent some time with their families for a while and planning to do that for atleast a few years.
"It's going to be a long, long time before you hear a new album from us. We've done a few things, but we're all enjoying having families at the moment. If it takes five years for us to feel ready to record something new, then so be it. We need plenty of time to let it come together organically." Martin stated.
Chris Martin is married with actress Gwyneth Paltrow and together they have the children Apple and Moses.
