Underoath is supporting A day to remember?
You've got to be fucking kidding me
|
| |
yeah this is just wrong
i mean i dont mind adtr but WTF. they're like the worst on the ticket.
|
| |
Yeah, that seems a little redic. Christcore y'all.
|
| |
I'd love to see this show, but seriously, why is Underoath not headlining? Them supporting ADTR is blasphemy.
|
| |
A Day To Remember weren't too good when I caught them live a few years ago. Don't know why they would headline.
|
| |
a day to remember is getting major market radio play. underoath is not. thus a day to remember is
headlining. plus a day to remember's singer was just in an episode of pawn stars. if anything says
"you've made it" it's that.
|
| |
wtf is Pawn Stars?
|
| |
No way, really Adam? That's kinda cool. I watch that show all the time. I'm sure I'll see it.
|
| |
I was hoping to see Underoath again, but then I saw this. By the way I saw that episode, I had to make a double take.
|
| |
I really wanna see UO for the first time... But is it worth having to see them support someone else?
|
| |
I'd rather have UO support ADTR and then GTFO then have to sit through ADTR with all these 13 year olds fight dancing and shit.
|
| |
poo. i'll wait for a headlining tour for the new album.
|
| |
Yeah because its all about the money not influence.
Fuck these bands btw.
|
| |
This would be so awesome
|
| |
Surprised all the word alive dickriders are not commenting. UO is the only good band on this tour and they are not even headlining......DA FUCK
|
| |
i think they're coheadling but idk forshore
|
| |
Underoath supported As I Lay Dying earlier in the year, I don't see why people find them supporting ADTR such a surprise.
|
| |
^You're comparing As I Lay Dying's quality to that of A Day to Remember? Um, no.
|
| |
have never heard adtr or underoath on the radio. ever.
|
| |
I'd rather have UO support ADTR and then GTFO then have to sit through ADTR with all these 13 year olds fight dancing and shit.
^good point.
|
| |
^You're comparing As I Lay Dying's quality to that of A Day to Remember? Um, no.
lol as if one band is sooo much better
|
| |
Gimme some of dem french fried purtaturs, mmmhmmmm.
|
| |
pawn stars is the greatest show of all time
|
| |
Fuck them for choosing Grand Rapids over Detroit
|
| |
its weird wasn't timmy panning bands like adtr and twa when he shat on escape the fate and chiodos
|
| |
DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH DUH
This will truly be the downfall of us all.
|
| |
Yeah um ADTR is pretty fucking big these days. everyone listens to them because they are a common middle ground for kids who like breakdowns and kids who wanna listen to pop punk. i actually enjoy them myself and have seen them several times. not surprised to see UO supporting on this. i dont care for the first two bands however.
|
| |
WEST COAST?
|
| |
looks downright awful
|
| |
I'll be sick that day
|
| |
Haha Nash makes a good point, these bands besides UO are all bands for teenagers.
Its not gonna be like Deftones, don't give them too much shit
|
| |
The real Bruce Willis? Blues right?
|
| |
The Word Alive and Underoath are supporting?
Fuck this shit I don't even care if there's no Idaho date.
|
| |
You ever get to that point in your life when you realize you have really outgrown a certain type of music you used to like?
Thats me right now
|
| |
I've heard ADTR on the Octane station on satellite radio more than a few times. Never heard Underoath though.
|
| |
that sounds like an incredibly fun show. i like all 4 bands to some degree.
|
| |
Well on their news streem they announced that another tour will be set for after this when their album comes out
Its a smaller city tour
|
| |
lol tour sucks
|
| |
I might end up going to the 11/9 show. 20 minutes away from my hometown, but I'm up in Boston so not sure if I'll come back for it. Lineup is pretty solid, even though ADTR is headlining.
|
| |
Don't want to go as Comatorium will probably sucking the Word Alive's dicks on every tour date
|
| |
love underoath, but tour sucks.
|
| |
why the hell was my comment deleted?
|
| |
ADTR is good, but veterans like UO shouldn't be supporting. hell, they shouldn't even be touring together... now TWA, being a younger, more upstart band makes them a better opening act.
|
| |
wtf underoath is the band everyone would be going for not ADTR
cant wait for new underoath record ;)
|
| |
Well at least i can see The Word Alive and Underoath and get home early.
|
| |
i orgasmed a bit when i saw this. while i feel UO should headline and TWA should be the second band with ADTR opening, I dont care really. They all tour a bunch anyways.
|
| |
They played a huge concert near where I live. Bands who played: ADTR, Limp Bizkit, Avenged Sevenfold, Hollywood Undead, etc. QUALITY show. Just good bands all around.
|
| |
"They played a huge concert near where I live. Bands who played: ADTR, Limp Bizkit, Avenged Sevenfold, Hollywood Undead, etc. QUALITY show. Just good bands all around."
Can't tell if this is a joke or not.
|
| |
"Can't tell if this is a joke or not."
Well that's not good then.
|
| |
and it is a joke btw. I don't think you could pay me to attend that shitshow, let alone even watch 5 minutes of Limp Bizkit live.
|
| |
Ah. Ahahah. Ahahahahaha, TWA is supporting these guys?
I liked them two years ago. Then I grew up just a bit and realized how silly the band is.
|
| |
Weak, no Florida dates.
|
| |
I used to listen to A Day to Remember all the time. Then, some time passed where I didn't listen to them at all. Now, I find it difficult to sit through an entire album of theirs'. The lack of musical variation and good lyrics really puts me off. A Day to Remember are better than bands like Fall Out Boy, Panic! At the Disco, and the like, but they just aren't that great tbh.
|
| |
Oh, and they should NEVER get more playtime on ANY stage than Underoath who in my opinion have reshaped the expectations of what metalcore should be.
|
| |
ADTR is pretty fun live, but UO is amazing amazing live
|
| |
A Day to Remember are pretty terrible. Not sure about Underoath though, since I've never heard them. And I don't really have any desire to, seeing what genre they are.
|
| |
Remember when headlining meant you were good and had opened for people for more than a year and a half? I saw ADTR at 09's warped tour and they weren't that fantastic.I find ADTR incredibly annoying and would much rather listen to Four Year Strong. It's the same style of music, but not nearly as poppy. My friend who I used to drive to school with used to play Homesick by ADTR on a semi-regular basis. Those were terrible mornings.
|
| |
Managed to catch Underoath before Gillipsie left. I want to see how they roll now.
|
| |
Wow, what a bunch of bullcrap. Underoath SUPPORTING A Day To Remember?!
What has the world come to?!
I'm gonna go regardless, but c'mon...
|
| |
Cool. I'll go for ADtR and The Word Alive.
Because I'm just that uncool.
|
| |
For one, ADTR is allllll over MTV these days.
For two... here's an example.... UO has like 80 million plays on myspace.
ADTR has 130 Million.
|
| |
I can't wait to not go to this.
|
| |
They're both from florida, how are there no shows there...thats wrong.
|
| |
yeah but.. ADTR
|
| |
The bands in general seem cool, I might just go to Austin to see this show, and--
Oh. ADTR are playing.
|
| |
more excited for the word alive than any of the others, who the fuck cares who's headlining?
|
| |
@ohnoestehmusik - Generally the band headlining plays the longest....
If you can't extrapolate where I'm going with that I'll continue
|
| |
I will see UO even though I will have to deal with "br00t4l" 13 year old scenesters!
|
| |
I will see UO even though I will have to deal with "br00t4l" 13 year old scenesters!
Looks like I'm going
|
| |
I won't be able to sit through the bands before, Ill just come when Underoath comes on and leave soon as they are done.
|
| |
First off, just because a shit load of 13 year old girls like ADTR doesn't mean they aren't a good band. Just because they are more mainstream than UO doesn't mean they aren't a good band. I do agree that UO SHOULD be headlining this tour, but I don't see why everyone is coming at ADTR, because they are CLEARLY a good band if people pay to see them. They sold out completely at their last tour, so I'm assuming they aren't as horrible as everyone says they are.
|
| |
bigger deal:

| |
Horrible logic, B3G33. Millions of people flock to see Justin Beiber in concert, does that make his music good? Please don't say yes.
|
| |
IF YOU DON'T LIKE THE MUSIC THERE IS NO FUCKING NEED TO COMMENT. AND STOP BEING HATERS
|
| |
woaah.
|
| |
no need to be a dick. i personally like all of the bands. im actually going to this show. so chill the fuck out.
|
| |
