DMX concert turns to violence 2006-10-02 by Thor | 14 Comments | A 29-year-old woman was injured at a concert Saturday at the Nassau County Veterans Coliseum in Uniondale, N.Y., Nassau County police said.
The victim told police she was injured as audience members at "Back to School Jam 'O6" and people from rapper DMX's entourage threw chairs and bottled water at each other. The victim said she was struck in the head by a chair thrown from the stage.
The woman suffered a laceration to her head, said police, who are investigating the incident as an assault. She was treated at Nassau University Hospital.
According to reports, DMX became angry after the sound was cut during his set. The rapper left the stage but returned with members of his entourage, who began throwing bottled water into the audience. After someone in the crowd threw a folding chair onstage, a member of the entourage threw it back, striking the woman in the head.

| | | VIOLENCE AT A RAP CONCERT! This is unheard of!
This just continues my theory of how idiot "thugs" don't deserve to be entertainers. His own "entourage" caused the injury.

Yeah because people never get injured at metal shows! You're right, we should put a stop to this rap nonsense!

Well the good metal bands don't purposely hurt their fans. And they usually don't pack guns on stage either. Never heard of a metal drive-by shooting either.
