This band is from around where I live and people really eat them up. I personally don't get it but then again I left the 'teen angst' stage of my life a very long time ago.

I have just realized that the lack of keyboards in this song does not bother me, because this band sucks at using them anyway. Always some cheesy string patch playing the background chords.

It annoyed the ever loving shit out of me. Because I was looking forward to how they would abuse their keyboards. And I sat there..for 3 minutes patiently waiting for something, and...nothing.

Quite a few bands do the whole "strings in the back" thing COUGHPRADACOUGH and it really makes me sad because I like when keys and metal are mixed together.

I agree, crazy synthyness and guitars is always a treat. That's why I have always been in love (in secret, mind you) with Chiodos. because I feel like neat piano and synthy riffs and siren-like guitars is always a instant love for me. shhhh Don't tell anyone though.
