You're absolutely right. It isn't that big of a deal at all... it's just clichéd and shows an utter lack of creativity. I mean honestly... what kind of band discussion could've ended in deciding to name a song "fuck".... I'm guessing one that lacks any significant level of intelligence or artistic creativity.

And they're always gonna put their spin on what they deem to be "artistic" or "creative" and if some bands don't fit into that mold, then they're going to spend entirely too much time telling everyone else how much they obviously suck (and making jokes with way too much internet lingo such as "lulz" and "fail"). It's called music elitism, and it's a disease that affects a good portion of the Sputnik community.

Personally, I don't know if I'm excited or not. I loved Suicide Season, but not so much for the experimental and electronic aspects of the songs, I've never thought Oli's voice was very well-suited for that style. But the artwork is great and the clip didn't sound half bad. I will definitely be checking this out regardless.

Band would probably receive a little more positive recognition if they didn't have such a strong reputation amongst 13 year old school girls and gay boys.

However, the music they play will most likely continue to be bland and this album will still probably suck. I'd like to be proved wrong though and I'm strangely excited to hear it.

that shit's good. sounds so different. i liked CYB and suicide season, but this actually has an atmosphere behind the instruments. I just went from six to midnight.

I somewhat liked CYB just because it was silly and I was like 14. When SS came out, I thought it would be the same breakdowny silliness. but they actually were serious and it sounded just like metalcore shitiness.
